new stereo, infiniti speakers...install question

I've read a lot of threads here about new stereo installs, and I'm hoping that what I bought will work without having to replace the speakers (that will come with time and $$)



The truck is an 02 sport, with 6 infiniti speakers but not the infiniti cd/radio according to the spec sheet.



I purchased a Clarion DXZ645MP head unit, and the wiring harness specific to this setup, and the filler for the 1 din unit. Is this all I need, or am I going to run into trouble with the infiniti speakers and the new head unit ?



If all goes well, I'll have Sirius, MP3 playback, and better sound in a couple of days.

I put an aftermarket deck in my truck and had the same parts you have and had no problems. Just wire according to the harness instructions. Have fun, it's easy...

If you have the Infinity speakers that came with the Infinity system, then you'll probably want to bypass the amps that are mounted to the speakers in the doors. I don't have any wiring diagrams though. Maybe someone here can help you out with that. Other than the amp thing, the speakers will work fine when driven from the head unit.

Check out my readers rigs... . i use to install so i knew what i was doing... . but hopefully w/ the pics you can figure it out

BTW... . you need an antenna adapter... DC is now putting the crappy euro plug in these trucks

when i wired mine up i left the amps hooked up and just wired up the choke wire(what they call it to turn on the amp) to the blue remote wire on the deck, worked great. www.the12volt.com has tons of free diagrams you can borrow and print.
