New TDR Feature.... Looking for beta testers!

TDR is pleased to announce a ground-breaking feature for its users:



The TDR User Gallery. The User Gallery Features:

• Integrates with existing message board user id and password.
  
• Create a profile of your truck.
  
• Create up to 10 albums.
  
• Each album has a name and description you assign.
  
• Each album can have up to 15 photos that you upload into it.
  
• Each photo has a name and description you assign.
  
• Your profile (known as a Gallery) can contain up to 20 links to your favorite web sites along with a description.
  
• The public (visitors) can browse through the albums.
  
• Visitors can vote on individual photos
  
• Visitors can vote on albums
  
• Visitors can view albums sorted by create date, vote ranking, state, year, number of photos in album, or album name.
  
• Each album keeps track of the number of views
  
• Each photo keeps track of the number of views
  
• You can upload any resolution photo, the User Gallery handles photo sizing automatically.
  
• Photo thumbnails are created on the fly.
  
• Visitors can view photos at the original resolution, 320x240, 640x480, 800x600 or 1024x768.
  
• Create, edit or delete your albums and photos at any time.
  
• Each to use web interface, no HTML knowledge required.
  

This software is completely home-grown, custom code so we have control over its feature set.



We need 10-15 users willing to beta test the User Gallery for a week or so. Simply let us know here and we'll get back with you in a couple of days with the information needed to access your profile. If all goes well we hope to have the final version available to all TDR members within 7-10 days.



Note that this is only version 1. 0B. Much more is planned for version 2, including integration with the chat.

Is this something that all subscribers will be able to use? Or will this be an "added value/cost" feature?

It will be available to all subscribers. We intend to give users more bang for their buck and add features they can't find at any of the freebie sites.



Note, however, that the gallery is meant to be used for truck related items. Ie, your truck, your Uncle Bob standing next to your truck, pictures of your weekend hanging at the coffee house with TDR members,... . but not a picture of your Aunt Vera falling down drunk at your brother's wedding.
