Hello from PA. New member but have referenced many of the forum threads throughout the past 2 years of my ownership of a 1992 CTD while bringing the truck up to date on maintenance.

Maintenance and improvements I've performed since possession as follows:

October 2017
-new Cooper Discoverer HT3 235/85r-16 mounted on Alcoa wheels.
-new Monroe Gas-Magnum shocks.
-new 1" alum. coil spacers and rubber isolators.
-cleaned and repacked front hub bearings.
-new Gates HD green serpentine belt.
-new Wix air filter.
-new 12 qts Rotella 15w40 engine oil.
-new Fleetguard oil filter
-new Baldwin fuel filter
-drain and filled Getrag with 4.5qts dino oil.
-new Westar EM-2624 trans. mount.
-new Westar engine mounts.
-new brake booster and Master cylinder (old one leaked and fluid ate thru brake booster diaphragm).
-sprayed Fluid Film rust preventative on frame, under cab, under bed, in doors, behind fenders, cab corners and anywhere i could access.

September 2019
-new Carlson drum brake hardware kit.
-new Monroe BX357 rear shoes.
-new drum wheel cylinders.
-new National 370150A untized rear hub/axle seals.
-verified rear axle vent was clear.
-drained and refilled differential with 80w90 and (1) 4oz. bottle of Mopar limited slip additive.
-thorough flush of cooling system and refilled with 2.5 gallons of Prestone Corguard concentrate and filled remainder of system with distilled H2O.
-tabbed KDP and removed, added loctite and torqued accessible timing case bolts.
-replaced timing cover crank seal and cover gasket with Felpro. TCS 45902 kit.

That's about it for now. I just wanted to finally join and share my ride.

Welcome! I put that mirror kit on my 1 gen. I miss that truck. Character with a capitol C!
Where in PA, General region?

Welcome aboard!
That's a real beauty you have there!
If your going to be doing any winter driving there in PA, be sure to keep up with your Fluid Film treatment. Did you use one of those atomizing extensions to get the fluid film into those no see'm areas on the truck?

Fastback67, I won't drive the truck throughout the winter unless we get some rain to rinse the roads off and only if they are dry. The truck

really is a zero rust truck and it would kill me to drive it on our nasty winter roads. I have a jeep cherokee sport I use as my winter beater.

I did buy the fluid film spray gun with the 360 spray nozzle and extension.

I hear ya... I keep mine garaged at my place in NH for most of the winter. I take it out on the good days, and those days when I really need it, but other than that, the Jeep is the daily driver. It's a clean 1st Gen and I'd really like to keep it that way. At the moment it's being used as a driver in CT about 50% of the time, and for those trips between CT and NH. Winter will be here soon enough however, so it won't be long before it makes that final trip back to the White Mountains in NH.
