belt was riding off the a/c pulley towards the back, so I broke down and got a new tensioner and pulley, but the belt still is riding off the a/c pulley? could it be the belt, should I flip flop the belt? any suggestions are appreciated!
I had that same thing happen to me a long time ago... turns out I was brain dead and had the belt pattern wrong... eveything worked, but it walked off at the ac compessor.
If the belt has run off the pulleys it can be damaged and may never stay on. I changed an idler on a 1st gen once and turning the belt front to back kept it on the pulleys until he got a new belt.
