I just traded my 02 H. O. for a 04 w/ an auto in it. It was a good deal. My question is : Do I need to monitor the fuel psi like I had to on my 02? I know the 04 is common rail and different fuel delivery system than I'm used to. I am also quite leery of the 4 speed auto in the truck also. Anything I should look for as a tell tale sign of transmission failure? 90% of the vehicles I've owned have been manual transmissions, so I'm fighting the learning curve. Thanks, Geoff

if you get a pressure box on your truck then a rail presure gauge would be a good idea but there are other better ways to get power out the CR.

As far as the auto transmission its is a robust unit with stock power. Start adding power and that transmission is going to start failing
