New Timbrens install

Installed Timbrens several weeks ago and made trip from NC to southern Illinois. Rough ride. Called Timbrens and complained and they were a good sport. Shipped me a softer set out that day. Installed them before my trip this weekend and they worked out OK.

Was the rough ride empty or with the trailer?



Empty you want an inch or so between the Timbren and the axle. Otherwise it will be bumpy. Towing my tractor and trailer (just shy of 10,000) I have a real smooth ride.

Rough ride

I had 3/4" clearance empty and truck settled about 1 1/2" under load. They made my truck porpoise and also rather bouncy. The softer set mademuch better ride.
