New tires and wheels

Hey all,

Does the 3rd gen wheel(17") fit on a 2nd gen? I need new tires and was going to swap on the 3rd gen chrome wheels and tires.

I cannot speak for all 2nd gens.

But, I have seen a set of 3rd gen wheels on a 2001 and a 12 Valve I can't remember what year it was though.

Been lots of posts about this, but yes all '03-'06 wheels fit '94-'02 Rams. Only catch I heard though was when using the chromed steel 3rd Gen wheels is the center caps don't quite pop all the way on, but I think they work if you reuse the original ones on the 2nd Gen. I think that's what the story was anyway.
