I just ordered some new Toyo AT 285/75/R17 E tires that will be put on in a couple days. Will these fit my stock 2010? Anyone have pics of their truck running these tires?

just a thought, but why would ya order something you are not sure of... and any tire dealer would be able to tell if they would fit..... ?????

I have read they fit on the 3rd gen pickups so I figured they would also fit the 4th. I just wanted to make sure they would fit and was looking for pics. Which the helpful gentleman up above provided. If they for some reason rubbed I would put a leveling kit on. I understand a tire dealer could tell me, but what is TDR for? Thanks for your unhelpful unfriendly post. Have a great day.

I have the 285/70/17 and these fit fine. I just bought a spare and it fits in the stock spare location with a little room to spare.

the 285/75/17 are a little taller thou.

I do not think I was being rude... . just a simple question... and I was telling you that you could have gone to a tire shop and they would have been able to answer your question... sorry that you took it the wrong way... .

MOST of the sales people I've dealt with at tire shops can tell you the stock size, the price, and upsell some bits and pieces. I've had a half dozen trucks and Jeeps with larger tires and the more research you do on your own the better! 4 wheel drive shops and forums have been my favorite places for getting actual information, but there's no such thing as too much info (unless it's about your parents making babies!)

I would trust this site over many tire shops.

When I had the 35's swapped from the '06 to the '11 one of the tire jockeys at the shop said there was no way they would fit with out a lift. They do, I know this because of TDR.

It is a good thing to ask on these forum's as that is what they are here for. "sharing information" But it might have been a little smarter to have asked before ordering them though:rolleyes:

Metalaram - Do you have any more pics? Front view, rear view, etc? Looking to see how the tires fit under the fenders.

BTW love your truck. I was torn between silver and white. I like silver better, but my 2001 2500 white looked amazing after 10+ years living outisde and getting quarterly washes. My lazy side won so I stuck with white!

Thanks for the complement. White looks good on these trucks but my wife thinks they look to "work truck or company owned" so I stick with silver. I get tempted to go with other colors but being anal retentive I obsess over every nick and scratch so silver it will stay:-laf I do love silver's dirt hiding ability's as well.

The 285/75's (33. 8) are a good fit on the factory rim's. I am going to go just a bit bigger but am waiting to get 18X9 wheels first. I think I will try either the Nitto Terra's or Trail's in a 295/70/18 when I do. That size is 34. 4/34. 6 respectively and just a hair under a 35-12. 50 in height but not as wide. the 12. 50 width tires are actually well over 13 inches wide and in my opinion are a bit big for a 8-9 inch wheel.

That was probably TMI so here is a pic I had on the computer. I wish I could make them upload bigger.
