I am getting ready to replace my Cooper LT 31x9. 50s. I've already got 20000 on them and they're dang near bald. I rotate religiously, alignment is good, and don't burn 'em. I drive a ton of gravel and I'm sure that contributed to their short life. Does anybody have any suggestions on a tire that wears good on gravel? I'd like to get 33x12. 50s with fairly aggressive tread. Any help would be appreciated.

Everybody complains about the price of BFG's and Toyo's and stuff but this is exactly why I spend the extra money. My choice in tires may cost twice as much as the next guys but I get 3 to 4 times the wear out of them. I just replaced my 255/85 BFG MT's after 2 1/2 years and 77,000 miles and I didn't even rotate them like I had with tires in the past. I've always gotten at least 50k out of my BFG's. I know I sound like a cheerleader :D but they've worked well for me. The 255/85-16's are 33. 2 inches high but are narrower than a 12. 5 and have a real aggressive tread, maybe they would be a good choice for you.
