My BFG Rugged-trails (stock tires) lasted just a few miles under 57,000 miles. They wore very evenly & never had any problems with them. Did not rotate them as often as I should have, though.
I had to replace them the Sat. before July 4th. I had just pumped them up to 70 lbs. in the front & 75 lbs. in the rear. This was in preparation for a travel trailer trip to the White Mtns. , in eastern AZ. I had just filled up my propane bottles, stopped at MacDonalds for a gourmet lunch & while walking back to the truck, noticed a bubble on the sidewall of the right front tire about the size of a third of a tennis ball.
In the past, I had done some studying about tires, in preparation for the eventual purchase of new tires. On Tirerack.com, they have an area that allows customers to post their results with all the different tires they sell.
I read about the Bridgestone Dueler A/T "REVO's" & the great experiences people were having with them. Two stores, very local to me, had them. The store I bought from considered them to be one of their "Premium" tires, along with the Michelin LTX A/T's.
Some of the stores wanted $1026. 00 for a set of 4 with everything including warranties. I was able to "bargain" with one store & got them for $910. 00, out the door (including warranties). These are the stock-size replacements tires.
The Revo's seem to be fine. Have a more open tread pattern than the BFG's. They do pick up stones because of the open tread pattern, though. They are supposed to excell in wet conditions & snow because of the design of the tread pattern.
Hope this helps.
