Just bought the 2006 in my signature and installed the Quad adrenaline w/pulse to start monitoring the vitals. Fuel pressure is all over the place.
At idle, it's usually 9-11, but a couple times at startup when it's cold it has shown 0. The truck seemed to run/drive fine at 0 (lasting a few minutes before the pressure came back up), which makes me question the validity of the reading.
At part throttle, it will drop to 1 or 2 psi, but if I give it more throttle it will come up to 5-8.
WOT usually holds between 2-5, but I haven't done a lot of WOT testing because of rain.
The sender is in a tapped banjo bolt at the CP3. Does this sound like there's still air in the line (eventhough I followed the instructions for bleeding the air)?
I know this isn't a VP44 truck, but should I be able to drive with 0 fuel pressure.
Is my in-tank pump getting ready to fail?
Thanks in advance for any help.
David
