New to Dodge

Guys:



I just ordered New Dodge Diesel. I was a ford 6. 0 guy. With an AFe intake, sct tune, Edge attitude, 4" exhaust and snow water/meth injection. With this combination it runs a high 13's quarter mile.



What do I need to do same with the dodge?



I am pulling the snow water/meth off the Ford and putting it on the Dodge with an ATS intake manifold.



What else? edge or tst? injectors?

do i need to upgrade the transmission?



I do not haul or tow heavy. I only need the HP for about 13. 8 seconds or so.

My budget is $2000-3000

with a budget of 2-3000 your transmission is all your gona git if you want a good reliable transmission!! :-laf

I agree with Wade you WILL need a trans to run in the 13's. Mine isnt the fastest truck in the world by any means and I am about to grenade mine. Luckily my DTT is on the way soon.

But after that put a TST powermax CR, injectors, and II phat shaft 64 thats about another 3,000. 00 but that sun of a gun will run Good.

You didn't say what transmission you are getting (Auto) or (Manual) For the kind of numbers you are wanting out of your Dodge, you had better set aside about $6000-$8000 for a Race Trans, or even just running a fuel pressure box on the higher setting will grenade your trans fast. My truck is basically stock aside for an Edge-Juice/ Attitude and K&N FIPK intake, I've had the Edge for about 12K miles, my truck has 30K miles, I will need a trans soon, but it is what it is..... I also don't want or need anymore power out of the truck, the Edge is more than enough.

the truck is a mega cab, AUTO, 2500



sorry for not posting it as an auto before



new transmission? does a race transmission shift as smooth as the stock transmission?



what is a II phat shat 64? were would I buy it?



TST is better than edge for this application? I like the controls better on the edge.



what injectors would I get or get the existing injectors honed?

www.industrialinjection.com For info on the turbo. I am not sure on contact info but google DTT transmission and call them they are always willing to explain thier system. I have heard nothing but good things about the TST but to each thier own if you like the edge attitude already I say run that. Sorry for the lack of info I am sitting in the hospital right now waiting on my first son to be born and just thought I would check in while I was waiting for the Dr.

go with the tst chip. it would be cheaper to get the injectors honed.
