Hey fellas!

Nice board you have here. It convinced me to buy a new 04 cummins.

Anywyas I have been a ford guy for a loooong time, had 5 powerstrokes bombed out which I loved. I went to buy another one, the 6. 0l and just couldnt gut the price tag on it, let alone all the problems they are having with the motor itself.

So to make the story short I bought a 04 quad cab longbox ho diesel and might say that I really like this truck :)

I have put a 4 inch lift with 35 bfg's and it looks way better then stock, and would recommend it to anybody. I love the way it looks.

Also put the 4'' exhaust turbo back from DPPI ( thanks mark )

and have the proguard 7afe kit on the way.

So I have a few questions left that im still figuring out and guess ill just shoot em at ya!

#1 Looking for a fuel box, In the stroker I was used to chips but same thing I guess.

I have been reading about the edge which everybody seems to have, which is good but It lacks one option that I want which is on the fly settings. Ive herd rumors of edge comming out with this option soon.

Also am interested in the Tst box which looks to have the adjustabe settings on it and also the digital guages. I like the option where it automaticly reduces the fuel if egts start getting to hot. Is this box availabe for the 03-04 years? and if you have it do you like it?

btw I will be getting guages with my fuel box if your wondering :) Unless I get the digital ones!

#2 The fuel pump issue has me concerned, Do most of you fellas put a better one on when you BOMB your truck? I herd people saying the are getting low reading clear down to 0 when wot. Is there a fuel booster pump that a guy could add to get rid of this problem for good? or will I have a problem?

so to summ it up!

I got the looks,exhaust,air

but need the FUEL :)

Thanks!

Well I got all the fuel you need (course it's for a 2nd gen), but I still need one thing:

PICTURES OF YOUR 4" LIFT W/ 35's!!!

My roommate has an '03 and is wanting to lift it... he's having a tough time deciding how high.

Also, what lift do you have on it? Springs in the back I hope?

Where are you located too?

Josh

I will get some pictures up soon. My wife said the digital camera has and error code on it lol. Guess ill have to look and fix it :)

I live in idaho and the 4ich lift if a Tuff country!

OK got the camera fixed hehe, tape was stuck in it. Took a few pics of truck might be a little dark but I will try and post em if i can figure it out woohoo!

Adjustable on the fly fueling box - Edge Comp, VA, Blue Chip, TST... lots of them out there. Some with built in gauges, some without.

Fuel pump - Lots of choices there too. FASS system, or a DIY for under $50 by relocating the OEM LP to the frame rail by the fuel tank.

Injectors are cheaper than PSD. I think the '03/'04 are in the neighborhood of $1000 for all 6. The one big thing I don't like about the new motors. '98. 5 - '02 are $250 - $900 for all 6 depending on insanity.

$1800 will almost double you HP. It's good to be in a CTD.

Are you Stick or Auto? Transmission is still a weak spot (as with everyone). Too much HP/TQ and you will have to think about beefing up your transmission. Lots of choices there too.
