Hello Everyone,

I am a new member to the TDR and I am looking forward to getting up to speed with my research on the CTD. I am the former proud owner of a 1996 3500 ext cab 4x4 CTD auto 3. 54 LSD etc etc...

What happened you may ask well I sold it in 1997 to increase the "Housing Fund". So now it is Y2K and I wish I didn't sell it after reading all the posts about the 24V engines. Just kidding. I know how fun dealerships can be with warranty work.

I am looking at getting a used 1 ton 4x4 in the next year so this is my homework. I am thinking that a 97 or 98 4x4 with a 12V engine and an auto would fit the bill. Maybe by then more info will be out on the 2003's and I will sell the house and stand in line! LOL

I should join the GLTDR as well since I am in Illinois.

Thanks in advance for being a great resource of information and support.

Welcome to the group. This IS a great place to learn about these trucks. I love my 97' 2-wheel drive dually. It toes my race car quite well.

Paul:

Welcome to the TDR Website!

Sounds like you are "on track" in your
efforts to get another Dodge CTD. By the
looks of the TDR Website "Classified Ads"
there are some very nice trucks for sale.
I definitely would recommend contacting
some of those owners.

Take Care!
