We have been looking for the past couple of months for a TT and spotted a for sale sign on a 2009, 24ft Jayco Flight. We came across this one only 1/2 mile from our home. We looked at it twice. Then we went to look at new Jayco's at a local dealer just to get a feel for pricing. We took a few days to think about it. We are never in a hurry to make a decision. Sometimes "thinking" too much about it can be bad to miss out on good a deal. But this is how I go about business. Sometimes to the point of "obsession. "
I have been looking at tires for over a month now and haven't made up my mind!!
This past Sunday we went for a bicycle ride at a State Park Campground. The plan was to grab a picnic table and play cribbage and enjoy one of my Bloody Mary's and then ride through the campground. Lo and behold we spot another Jayco but this unit is a 2009, 25 ft Jayco Flight G2 model. And... it has a for sale sign on it. Same asking price as the one we looked at a week prior. A little more "upscale" as far as cabinetry, wall furnishings, cushions and other items. The owners were outside at the campfire and happily gave us a tour. This unit is neat as can be. Very well kept and wife and I were totally impressed.
Last night we discussed the trailer and decided to go back and make an offer on it . We walked to the TT and the for sale is gone! Oh, oh. Shouldn't have thought about for a day maybe? Ends up we and the sellers friend looked at it and luckily for us he told his friend we have first crack at it. Besides that he said I know you will take care of it and it would bother him to sell the trailer to someone who wouldn't. We ended up staying for a couple beers with him and his wife and after talking found out we have many friends in common.
Today the owner is packing up camp, going home and cleaning it up for our final look ... . so maybe we will have the trailer in a week or so.
If anyone knows someone looking for a Lance Truck Camper we will have ours for sale soon!
