Just saw some of those mirrors today. I was tempted to steal them, but then I realized they were attached to the Great White. Thats right... SCOTT was down here in his new '01.
What a cool looking truck! The sound system was out of this world, and I didn't even hear it #ad


And yes... Those mirrors rock! but I am sure they will cost an arm and a leg to buy.

At least they show the mirors on a cummins.
They look pretty good. Is it just me or do they rotate? Power?? Heated??

Availability April 00????

I ordered my 2000 3500 back in Sept. 99 with the tow mirrors and got them on the truck which was built at the end of Nov. 99. I really like'em. Excellent visibility, don't shake in the wind, easy to adjust, breakaway feature. Also look a lot better than those gawd-awful things on the Phords. The only thing they lack is heated and adjustable inside the cab. It wouldn't surprise me if that comes later.

I like the mirrors. Test drove a 4X4 with them and they are nice. They are not power (heat or adjust). Are they a fit for replacing the power mirrors. I ordered mine with the towing mirrors but when the truck showed up, it had the power mirrors. Not sure where the miscommunication was. Alan

Does something look wrong in that photo?? Doesn't it look like they have the "old" style cab lights mixed with the new mirrors? Aren't the new cab lights a little flatter?

Those are the new style but with the glare because they are on it makes them look taller.

I've seen a truck with the tow mirrors on it. They're pretty nice - I still like the Ford tow mirrors better though. Anyway, if you order these on a truck they are a zero price option. Don't cost you a dime. If you order them aftermarket through the dealer they are way overpriced - like $350. 00 each. I'd buy them if they were reasonably priced.

I bought a set of the mirrors from my DC dealer for my Y2K. I paid $225 each which is cost. They list for $370 each. Love them for towing

Butch, How much trouble to swap the mirrors? My dealer quoted me $270 but I'm sure that's negotiable. I pulled the flatbed two days ago and need wider mirrors. All I could see was back to the trailer axles.

At this cost it seems that the Power Vision mirrors would fit the budget just fine. Maybe you guys can talk one of the fleet dealers into ordering some of the next trucks with the tow mirrors and them swap with them?
