I run these same tires but my pressure is far lower: 55 front/50 rear empty. So far I have 25k miles and the wear is excellent.

Yea, that is what I ought to have been running them at, but it took me awhile to see the uneven wear pattern... next time I change tire sizes and/or brand, I am definitely going to use the chalk method for determining proper unloaded air pressure. I might run the same Toyos again just to give em another chance.
