No I'm not going to roof mount them. They are going to be mounted under the cab. At 142db they will be heard. :-laf

You must drive on the freeways around Seattle. Amazing how a 3. 5 ton vehicle becomes invisible to the rest of the world. The best thing about the truck is the 4 wheel disk brakes that I use to keep from killing people when they pull in front of you without looking.

Tell us how it all works out and some of the particulars of your parts and pieces. I'm afraid if I had horns on mine I would burn up the air compressor before I got to work honking at idiots.

Pump is a engine driven York 209 mini with a 5 gallon tank so I don't think the air will be in short. I did the design/build of the mounting brackets to fit the 2011 6. 7L engine. I ordered all of the fittings this weekend so I'll be able to finish things up maybe this coming weekend if work doesn't keep me to busy I get the mounting brackets for the horns and tank built.



Yes I used to drive 167/405 daily until the big "B" laid me off. Now I work from home and when I do get out the traffic seems so much worse then when I was driving it daily.
