I'm looking at a 21,500# 5th wheel RV. Current truck not going to be able to do the work. Looking for advise if you were to order new for said RV.

Thanks,
John

3500 dualie, Aisin transmission and 4:10 gears. 5th wheel/gooseneck prep. B&W hitch that mounts with the four pucks.

OR

Buy an used Volvo 610 singled out and registered as a MH for half the price.

Both will do the job, however the Volvo will do it without breaking a sweat! They will get about the same MPG. With the Volvo sleeper you can make side trips.

Here is your yearly invitation to attend the 2nd best First Gen Meet known to Dodge Diesel truck owners. The date will be Saturday June 6th, 2015. As usual the grounds around the house and shop are available for camping, and everyone is welcome to roll in Friday, there may even be some rolling in on Thursday. Friday whoever is here, I try and finish cleaning up the shop and get people settled in, and in the evening we go to Creston for supper. Saturday morning whoever is here at the farm we convoy to town and have breakfast around 8am at the Family Resturaunt, and meet up with those that stay in the Motel 8. After breakfast we return to the shop for bench racing, wrench bending, test drives, tech support, and most of all visiting with great friends. Lunch and dinner will be Potluck, and served in the shop. The meat for both meals will be provided, and cooked on a grill or crock pots. Please feel free to bring salads, deserts, side dishes and such. The food has always been good and it seems to get better every year. A couple weeks before the event I will start a new post as a Roll Call, and those that are coming can post what they are bringing so we can get a game plan together. Festivities usually go late into the night, if the weather allows we will have a campfire to sit around and chat. This event is a family event, bring your wives and kids, my wife and girls will be here to show others around the farm. There is chickens, calves, horses, and dogs around. This event is BYOB, and its never been a problem before, but its a drug free event. Leave that at home. Usually Sunday morning everyone gets around and loads up to head for home, ending the weekend.
