New Truck :D

Hi,



I just purchased the 010 SLT inferno red with the big horn package. 6 speed manual 4X4 crew cab long bed. What I have notice about the truck.



1) More leg room in the rear than the 09

2) The fuel mpg seems to be a wee bit better than the 09 with only 150 miles on it city is 13 mpg and highway 17mpg

3) Ride is better

4) Lights are brighter

5) Better cab storage

6) Exhaust brake seems to have less noise

7) Last note it looks great

Footnote on cab storage.



With the 730 Media center the storage space under the right rear seat is taken up by the sub woofer.



Over all the input off address into the nav system is easy and to have the system recall any one them is either through the console or you can do voice command.



To transfer music from your cd's to the HD is simple enough but as I found out today some of the CD's take much longer to copy the music to the HD.



The backup camera is very clear compared to some others I have seen and I can see the hitch so hooking up to the trailer should be much easier.



As I explore this great truck I will keep updating this post.

With the 730 Media center the storage space under the right rear seat is taken up by the sub woofer.

I have thought about removing the sub if I run out of strorage space, but with the in floor storage I don't see it becoming an issue.

MPG update



I transfer my bedcover over to the new truck it's a tri-fold cover. The MPG on 35 mile road trip stayed around 17. 5 mpg.



Dodge tublar side steps where installed today. I will get some photos and posted them.

Thats to turn of the backup sensor when you are hooking up to a trailer of backing it up it will not blast a warning that you are to close to something.

Well that is disappointing, I was hoping it was to disable the "Wife and Daughter need to pee every 20 miles complaining" switch!

Really nice lookin truck, same as my 06! I stopped and looked at a new 10 and saw the price... ..... WOW, 54K and just a Big Horn! I think i gotta keep mine!

I guess that makes "sense" that you want to turn that off. Nice looking truck, I like the solid color over the two tone.

I was able to get my truck at much lower cost than the sticker. Other wise it would still be on t he lot.
