New Truck, How Long?

Ordered my 07 on sep 2nd. Dealer says six weeks to get it in, I'm betting on Thanksgiving. Anybody know how long it's really taking? I'd like to have the new one for a San Diego trip Nov 17th thru the 27th!! Also, For Sale one owner 97.

I've gotten them as quick as 4 weeks from date of purchase. About a week of that time is rail time. Since you are in Lincoln NE, your rail time would be pretty quick as you are on a main UP rail line close to the North Platte yard. Good luck. Tell us what you ordered. I ordered and took delivery of mine in Denver.

Depends on the options and colors you order and what is on restriction or short supply. I ordered my truck Sat Jan 15 2005, and since Monday was a holiday, it might not have gone into the system until Tuesday Jan 18... truck was built Feb 2. Of course, it then took 4 weeks to get to NJ from Mexico - if you get one from Missouri, should be much less shipping time.

I ordered last october 05, I think it rolled out of the factory December 10th 05. It got dropped off at the dealer March 1st 06. I think it was 18 weeks.

Did you call your dealer to get a status yet? They can tell you if it's got a build date yet. Figure 4 weeks from build date if all goes well.

I ordered mine 11/30/05 and it was delivered to the dealer on 02/09/06 so about 10 weeks but my order was thru all the holidays.
