Well I picked up my new truck last night:)

I have to say that I am very impressed. The truck drives great--I got 16. 5 mpg according to the overhead on the way home. Now whine or vibration... but... .

The truck feels low on power right off idle. There is a small shudder. This occurs in 1st or 2nd. Seems to be between about 800rpm and about 1300rpm. Once up to 1500rpm it pulls very hard. My buddy ordered at the same time, and is having all the same symptoms (he picked up last Friday)

I read through some posts about hesitation, but they seemed to be describing a problem that occurs between 1500-2500rpm

The truck was just built--Am I experiencing something new???

Anybody else have this?

Don't be concerned right now. Put some mileage on it. If it still does it 10 or 20k down the road, then we'll talk. Relax... you got that big fancy warranty on your side! ;)

same thing!

Just picked mine up on May 20. I feel a small shudder off the line. I didn't think it was worth loosing sleep over yet. I also have something at the right rear of the truck that squeaks during sweeping right handers (like an off ramp). I only have 1,000 miles on it so far, and I am totally in love with it! It pulls my 30' Weekend Warrior like a dream. I was surprised that a stock (no BOMB yet) HO motor would hit 1400* (pre turbo).

Mine was just like yours when it was younger. You won't believe how much stronger and smoother it gets with 10 to 15k on the clock. Relax and enjoy the ride!

Sounds a little strange to me. Right off idle, in first gear, mine feels like you could reverse the rotation of the Earth. Drive a couple more if you get the opportunity, especially one with a few miles on it so you can compare.
