Well I got me a brand new CTD 2004 QC SB 4x4 2500 with a 9000 GVW with 48RE trans my dream truck for sure MAN is she sweet looking.

I need some help with a question or two. Is the stock radio XM ready, it says in the book it's sirius ready doesn't say anything about XM. ? The radio in question is the dodge AM/FM-6 disc CD infinity sound system.

Also if you tow a 5th wheel what type of hitch do you use. I've heard Reese has an under bed rail system now does anyone have one, if so pros & cons please.

Last question can the automatic shift 4x4 knob be moved, if so whare are you moving it. I'd like to put my gages in that hole.

Thanks ahead of time.

I can only answer this one. The answer is yes, you can move that knob anywhere you want given enough time and effort. It's just a switch, so it's a simple matter of extending the wiring. Now, as for where else you're going to put it, that's completely up to you. I have never read of anyone here ever moving the 4wd electric shift knob, so you'll be the first one! How about moving it to the overhead console? I think it'd be kinda cool up there.
