:mad:I picked my new 6. 7 from the dealer the last week of June and I love everything about it except for the way it responds when your upshift or accelerate. I got the 6sp manual, I guess I like to shift, and when you get back on the fuel after shifting it almost feels like it wants to stall. It will hesitate then it will take off. It will also do this when you are letting it coast and get back on the fuel. It is also very easy to stall starting from a stop. I never stalled either of my old trucks. This is terrible and I have just under 1000 miles on it. I have had 2 other trucks, an '01 with 5sp and an '04 with 6sp and niether one of those trucks performed this way. Yes, I know it is the new 6. 7, but it still should not do this. The dealer is going to take a look at on friday and see if they can find anything. #@$%!

Anyone else this problem?

My '07 C&C w/6spd. manual and 3:73 rear took some getting used to as far as shift points and starting out compared to my '99 C&C w/5spd. and 4:10 rear. I did stall mine a few times, but am used to it now and it is a none issue. As far as your engines performance, there has to be something wrong,as the 6. 7 is much more responsive than 5. 9 in my opinion. I've never experienced what you described.

My 6. 7 manual 6 speed acted the same way when i picked it up. Seemed to have a stumble when getting back on the throttle after shifting or when starting out from a stop. After having the latest TSB done it is much better but feels like it still has a slight delay in throtle action. The quicker and harder you get back on the throttle the worse it is. I have learned to ease into the throttle so it isn't as noticable but it still don't seem right. My last truck a 3500 5. 9 ,5 speed was always right there when you hit it so it's hard to get used to the way this truck acts. I have 4000 mi on it now and guess i am getting used to the way it runs so it don't bother me as much now. Other then that it is a good truck. Tows my 13000lb trailer well. Will be interesting what they come up with yours.

You're not the only one

My friend has a 6. 7 that he bought a few months ago and it has never run well. He gets 8mpg with his empty 20' horse trailer and the truck will stall in 2nd gear if you don't get on the throttle. He has taken it in 4 times each time to be told that he doesn't know what he's talking about and that there's nothing wrong. He has even talked to coperate hdq's and they talked to the regional service manager and he told them there was nothing they could do to fix it. So Daimler closed his case and he's stuck with a $45k puny truck. When he told the mechanic that he can't even chirp the tires, the mechanic said that was because dodge has been trying to make the trucks where you can't chirp the tires?????

He's not happy with Dodge at all, wished he hadn't of traded his '03 in.

Well, it looks like I have another one of those trucks that have the stumble after shifting. I have only had the truck for a week now and felt it sence the day I got it. Bluefalcon, have you heard anything about your truck and did they fix it. My old 02 was way better than this new truck. It feels like it is worse when cold.
