Well I just picked up my NEW to me TrucK!!
04. 5 2wd Quad cab Dually, 48re with 3. 73 Sure grip with 32kmi on the odometer. Geez all the damn money I wasted over the last 5 years with my V-10 & 12mpg. The 04. 5 is a blast to drive!!!!!!!! You tip into the throttle, then you hear the whistle of the TURBO & off you go, almost as much throttle response as a V-10 BUT the MPG was great!!!!!!! TORQUE !!!!
Left KC about 4pm, After about 500mi of 68mph with a nap or 2 in between. (truck probably idled for about an hr or 2) The computer still said 18mpg, calc was 17. 6. Stopped just outside of Columbus OH to fill up & the again just the other side of Cleveland with 169mi of 75mph & the computer said 20. 4. I wish I would have bought the truck new in 04!!!!
