Going to turn in my old 3500 6 speed for a new one just cant make up my mind if i should get a auto. or a 6 speed getting tired of shifting gears for two years now

I would stay with the 6 speed. I went from a 5 speed to an auto, and wish I'd stayed with the stick. Think the sticks are a better tow truck if left stock.

I have the auto now and like it but I tow very little maybe 5 to 6 times a year, a TT 6 to 7 k. But mostly use to go to and from work. When I retire my wife and I plan on getting a bigger 5th. wheel and knowing what I know now I will go with the 6sp. So I guess it boils down to what you will use it for and which will suit your needs best. my 2 cents.
