New Truck Today

Well I finally have it, my bright silver, Laramie H, quad cab, LWB, SRW 3500 4x4. I ordered it while I was away for the winter and just got back to town yesterday. So far, so good, no vibe and fit and finish seem perfect. I'm sure I will find flaws eventually but nothing so far. Thanks to Tomeygun I told my dealer I could get it for 3% under invoice in St. Louis. My dealer was offering 1% under but went with the 3% at the time of the order when I mentioned the Tomeygun deal. Now to read the owners manual so I can figure out how everything works. It just fits in my garage but I can't walk behind it with the garage door closed like I could with my extended cab '96. Needless to say I'm kind of excited today...

Enjoy the new ride. I got mine the day before X-mas after finally talking the Wife into a new ride (a very nice '95 Ram V8 (360CID) Gasser) I had really thought about the Hemi til I saw it's mileage. Suffice to say, my '05 CTD is a much better vehicle, and even the Wife likes the new "beast". Just remember... Treat her nice (both Wife and Truck) and she'll treat you right too :-laf :-laf

Ken, I didn't win enough in Vegas to even fill it up with fuel. We had a lot of wind on the way back and I40 was closed in 2 places, once for blowing dust and zero visibility and another for a wildfire. To top it off, we both caught the flu on the way back so I'm not feeling too good yet. We picked up the truck, drove it home and parked it. I went to bed and read the manual between coughing spells. Hopefully all will be well in a couple of days.
