I haven't had a cummins since 93 and would like to know if there are any typical problems that arise. For example on the ford PSD the turbo bolts like to back themselves out. Is there anything like that on the DC that I should pay close attention to. Sounds like I should be checking that seal at the drive shaft. Anything else?

Also any upgrades that just need to be done to make the driving experience more rewarding would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Gary

check the paint

I've only got 7800 miles on my new one and have so far only been back to the dealer for one problem. Seems the factory got a little light on one of the rear quarter panels, took it back to the dealer who looked at it and agreed. they repainted it and went over the whole outside with a close eye. A great job by Christopher Dodge in Colorado!

NO! not really, Very few problems that are wide spread on the new trucks except the low quality of service from the dealers.

I actually purchased my truck from Christophers Dodge. They aren't so bad to deal with when you have a problem, but make sure everytime that you go there that you take your mods off. Them guys really check the trucks over for mods. LOL... guess Chrysler pays them commission checks for every truck that they find with a mod on it... LMAO

BTW. . hotel6, in case you are not aware... we do have a local TDR chapter here in Denver if you are interested. Please feel free to e-mail me if you have any interest in joining us.
