New truck

Well gentlemen, I'm happy to say that I will recieve my new 2010 RAM2500 this coming week. I'm looking forward to towing our fifth wheel trailer with the advantages of a six speed automatic transmission with electronic shift up/shift down, and a compression brake. I'm looking forward to the increase in horsepower/torgue when merging with traffic. And well..... HEY I'm looking forward to that new truck smell and feel. Thank you all for your posts which have help me to make a decision on another used or a new truck for our needs.

Man you will love it! That Exhaust Brake is incredible! Towing my 29' TT down several hills we travel is usually a white knuckle ride but now I find myself using the accelerator just to do the speed limit.

Hello craiggo, thank you! I've been towing with a 96' 5. 9L automatic truck. Yes it had improvements but there is still the weak link in the back of my mind. It was a two wheel drive and since we plan to travel late in the season at altitudes I was also worried about early snow. I'm sure I'll love my new truck. And for added piece of mind I purchased the MaxCare protection plan with service (oil changes). For a mier $28 month that's a whole lot of piece of mind. I've never had sat radio but I'm sure we will really enjoy the availability of a divers offereing of music while on the road.
