New Truck

The dealer called and my truck has arrived.

I've attached the picture the dealer sent me. You can see the truck still on the delivery truck. It looks a little greenish. I hope to take delivery on Friday.

The color is prairie pearl coat, you can't tell from this picture. I ordered the truck October 15th. It has been in shipment since November 13th. I had to wait about a week before the restriction on the Aisin was lifted. I can't wait to take delivery. I had a 1999 F250 7.3 and 2005 F350 6.0 before this and I'm done with Ford! From everything that I read the Ram should be a hell of a lot better!

Congratulations with the Arrival of your new Ram. Nice color. Glad it work out for you getting the Aisin transmission.
I was all set to buy a F-350, myself when i started to read, and hear all the issues. I am a long time Ford owner with cars, no issues with them. A $60,000 truck on the other hand with issues is another matter.

Congrats!! If you don't mind, please let me know what if you feel any lag in take offs from a stop or when passing or merging... My truck, seems to have terrible lag, when I stomp on the Go peddle. From what I'm hearing the problem is limited to trucks with the Aisin trans, because of torque management..

Nice, mine went into shipment on Nov. 12th, the day before yours and the eta window for me starts tomorrow for dealership arrival, can't wait either. Especially since my current one is about to be picked up in the next hour by a deck truck to take to my mechanic to replace the #4 injector !#@

I noticed this lag when I was test driving a 2014 Aisin as well and from my research it is due to the ECM withholding the fuel till the boost is up so that they can pass the "snap idle" test without any smoke potential etc. Kind of sucks and will take a learning curve to hit the go peddle a second or two earlier when playing chicken at an intersection. Especially coming from a modified truck. I also noticed that my sisters 2012 does this, but not as bad.
