Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Picked up my Y2k Baby. Home town, Stockton, Ca. , wouldn't deal. Went to Wilsonville, Oregon-$100. 00 over invoice. Went for a 15 hour train ride on Amtrac, not much fun. The deal was painless. Drive home was good 600 miles. I noticed after owning 92 and 96 models that the cab noise was unbelievably noisy-- wondering if the lack of insulation ???? Do you think installing insulation under the hood would reduce cab noise ???? Ride was very stiff compared to my 96 one ton. Rancho 9000's will take care of that. 18 miles per gallon at 65 mph 300 mountain miles and 300 flat miles. Idle seems a little high at 850 rpm and very uneven. Tachometer fluctuates- how do I go about adjusting the idle lower ? Thanks...
