Just purchased a 2002 H. O. 6 spd 3/4 ton shortbox. LOVE IT!! I keep reading about all these lift pump woes tho. My friend who has a 97 12 valve says he thinks the 2002's have a pusher pump in the tank or in between some where. Is this true? I use stantadyne additive cause I figure every little bit helps. Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated as I am still diesel ignorant on some things. Tdr is helping me learn a lot & I am thankful

Welcome to the TDR. I don't think the 02s have pusher pumps, they still have the lift pumps as far as I know. :{
