Well Friday I'm supposed to pick up my new truck! I told my neighbor next door who is getting ready to move and her first response was... Oh good... You can help me move stuff in your truck! I told her that I would give her $15 and she could go rent a U-Haul. :) How do people get so confused? ;) Anyway I am really excited. I live in Utah and the truck is in Oklahoma (long story). My girlfriend is gonna meet me out there and we are gonna make the trip into a vacation through Colorado. Man...

Me and my girl cruisin' through the Rocky Mountains in my new Dodge Cummins. Does life get any better?

How about some spec's on the truck? Did you order it or did you just have one located?

Up underneath the advertisement banner is a group of smaller hard to notice buttons. Click on user CP and fill out your profile and signature with your truck info. Happy Cruise'n:D

P. S. Make sure and stop in the nearest muffler shop and have that muffler problem taken care of!;)

I picked up the new truck today in Tulsa! What a nice truck. I did see a 2003 4x4 Cummins today. I stopped to talk with the owner who was fueling up and told him I wanted to hear how quiet the engine was. He said turn mine off (a 2002) and I would be able to hear his. It was already running. I turned mine off and it was really, really quite. If I had to put a number to it I would say it was at least 75% quieter than mine... maybe even more. He said he had an automatic (Oh Boy ;) ) I was making like I was really impressed. Let me see... quiet, automatic, four doors... geez maybe a minivan would have been better. Oh yeah, his wife was driving it... Need I say more? Seriously, it was a nice truck but I wouldn't have swapped him even for mine. There's something about that diesel clatter that I dearly love... better for scaring cats, children and other small furry animals. Anyway tomorrow I'm off to Colorado Springs.

Got Smoke...

I had to locate the truck myself. I wanted a truck that had just about everything but leather and found the truck in Tulsa, OK. It was actually the last one they had other than a 2003.

I just got in last night and was pleased at how my truck performed. The mpg (hand calculated) was 21. 29 and the trip computer showed 21. 3. I didn't think that it would be that accurate. Maybe it was just a one time thing. The mileage was pretty good too. That was driving mostly 75mph with some 65mph. There was also a couple of times that I romped on it. I was coming through Colorado when this PowerJoke came flying up beside me. I eased down on the pedal to match his speed. He started to "try" and take off from me. Still in 6th gear I just romped on it. Man will this truck go. I finally slowed down thinking this is probably not the thing to be doing during the break in period. Well here he comes catchin' up and zooms right past me. He's probably telling his buddies right now how he smoked a Cummins yesterday. ;) This truck has amazing "punch" even at 75mph. :D

Im sooo jealous shouldnt be long until i get my 2002 cant wait. My dad has the 99 which he will be getting rid of shortly for who knows what. But everytime I hear a diesel go by get that craving. Like the one you get when you really need some nicotine. Guess No2 and nicotine have something in common besides smoke. Currently I am stuck driving my POS Grand Cherokee I hate the GAS!

Seed Guy...

Don't feel jealous... Your time will come. I was "high in the fever", according to my girlfriend, for weeks before I got my truck. Just tonight I told her I wanted to go drive the truck and she said "Where are you going?" I told her I just wanted to drive it. We ended up going by the Dodge dealership and looking at some 2002's and one 2003. Then a guy drove up in a '98 3500 and we ended up talking for about 30 minutes. My girlfriend is pretty patient I guess. I then took her by a place that sells toppers/shells. It was dark, raining, the gate was locked and you couldn't see much but does that really matter? I then started to tell her that I also needed air horns, rubber mats, a satellite radio, and a bed rug just for starters...

Yeah it sounds like you have the sickness too... ;)

P. S. Can you believe the past few times I have gone out to grab a burger that I purposely sit by a window so I can admire my truck while I eat? :D Really bad sickness... .

Elite... No pics yet (of the truck) ;)
