I HATE DEALERS... . Except mine... ... .....



I have been going nuts today waiting to find a truck. I already settled to get a Sport, which I did not really want, now it is looking like I may have to settle for a 2500 rather than a 3500... We found 2 trucks that I would accept, 1 in Illinois and 1 in Indiana... . BUT... The jokers at the dealers for a dealer trade said. . "Let me check, I'll call you back"... . My dealer has made about 10 calls today between the 2 dealers, with no response back to let us know one way or the other. Plus the fact that the dealers are 300+ miles away, so getting one before the specials expire monday is looking grim. e are now looking locally for a 2500... ... ... ... ..... "STRESS"



However, once I get a truck, I WILL call and ream the 2 suspect dealers for not calling back... ... yes, kind of vindictive, I know... ... I will also post the uncooperative delaers names here unless told not to by moderators... .

If I were you, I would not settle for a truck I did not want. If you want a 3500, you had better get it now and save yourself some money because you will not be happy and want to trade in a short amount of time. I think it is unlikely that dodge will not have as good a special as they do now... the economy hasn't recovered to that point yet. There is a dealer in OK that will pick you up at the airport I believe, and he has good prices on his trucks and a large selection. Also, there is a dealer in Terell, TX that has good deals on trucks, and I'd pick you up at DFW and tote you over there if you needed it Saturday morning. Good luck finding the truck you want.

I don't have a problem with the 2500, as my 2500 I just sold did all I needed, I just wanted the 3500 for the small amount more. I test drove a 2500 and liked it, so not that big of deal. As for prices, We get employee price, so that is not an issue. However, the $1000. 00 employee bonus ends monday. The dealer thinks the other incentives will remain, but is afraid of losing the employee bonus, as am I... I new going in that I would have to "settle" for not exactly what I would have ordered... I just had a few requirements..... HO, Auto, QC, SB, 4x4, Premium CLoth, Trailer tow pkg, Trailer tow mirrors, cab lights, Anti-spin ans siding rear window. . I wnated, but not required (but is on the ones we found) AM-FM-Cass-Cd Infinity with steering wheel controls... . We found 2 2500's local, but have to wait until morning to try and do the dealer trade. .

Well, I spoke to the dealer this morning. They told me that the dealer in Illinois called them late last night and left a message that the truck was ours (3500). They called this morning and got the dealer trade arranged (they are sending a 1500 HEMI for my 3500 CUMMINS... Tommorrow morning The dealer trade guy is driving out from Detroit to Chicago) So I will get the 3500 like I wanted... . Oo. Oo. Oo.



I wish I had a way of knowing what incentives were coming out, as I will not be getting the new truck until monday now anyway..... However, I am not a gambling man, so I will not risk losing money unless the dealer can confirm incentives...

Did you not check the dealer in Richmond Mi? I was there last night and he's got at least ten black ho's from sport's to slt's to Laramie's. All H. O. with auto's I purchased a Silver Laramie Sport Good Luck with the trade truck

So tell us where the good deals are. I would travel anywhere in the lower 48 to purchase an 03 Dually with HO, 6 spd, trailer tow, camper special, snow plow prep, 3. 73 rear with limited slip in an SLT with 4X4. LOL

I did my shopping on the internet, got the best price I could (Ebay Dealer), then took the print out in with me. I figured about how much hassle etc it would be to buy from someone a couple of states away and the other dealers paperwork charges etc. I let the dealer give me a price. I then told them I wanted to shop local and that it was more convient, if they could get close to what the out-of-state dealer would sell it for I would buy local.



They did and I bought!!



My time is very expensive.



Research and get PROOF of the prices.

Most dealers will deal. They make the trucks all of the time.

The dealer can always get more trucks.

New Truck !!!!!!!!!

Well, I just got home from a trip up north. I could not wait, so I went by the dealer, and there in the back lot sat a Dirty ... But NEW Ram 3500 Quad Cab Short Bed 4x4 Black Sport..... Oo. Oo. Oo ... I know that it is the one brought in for me as it had a Champion Dodge License plate on the front, and they were dealer trading it from "Champion Dodge of Barrington" in Barrington ,Ill..... So looks like my new ride is at least here Oo. Oo. : Oo. Oo ..... now I just have to wait until AT LEAST tomorrow, maybe tues if the dealer can confirm incentives... what is one more day for an extra $500. 00... as long as the $1000. 00 employee bonus does not disapear... ...
