New trucks - The front end Dodge should be using

It was radical, and quite cool when Dodge dropped the fenders on the 2nd & 3rd generation trucks, giving them the "big-rig" look.



I vote Dodge should lift the edges back up, and make the front end the same as the new CHARGER! Take a good look at pictures of it (the Charger), and think how good that attitude would go in front of a Cummins!



Much too late (I think we're going to see some years with the "Dakota" front end), but I think they should re-visit the issue for future gens.



Anybody agree? Any good aftermarkets interested?

LOL, naw just don't care for the chrome grill frame. They had it nailed with the 03 Laramie's painted frame & chrome cross. Toss in sport inserts and it really looked sharp.



What you got there looks like a 4x4 Charger!

As usual, I agree with Matt. Although I think the Charger looks great, I think those upturned headlamps on a truck would look too much like the latest Chevy trucks (YUCK!).



I like the plain black honeycomb in my grille. Jeff - AWESOME Photoshop work!



It's funny, in post 2 the Charger looks mad and the Ram next to it looks surprised.

The charger front, modified for the truck, looks too pinched in like a little mouth in a fat face

Wish they had left it alone. Dodge used one basic style from 1972-80; 81-93; 94-02 so why are they changing now???

I would argue they are still using the same basic 3rd gen style: same fenders, different bumper and slightly different grille.
