New Trucks

What is the deal with the new 4500/5500 dodge trucks I have been hearing about. When ( If ) are they coming out, what kind of engines/trannys are going in them, are there new bodies and chassis, and are they coming in 4x4? Any other information would be nice.

I've heard rumors that they already sell them in Mexico but a quick look around the Dodge Mexico website only reveled a Ram 4000 model... . see link below. It appears that it is only available with the 5. 7L Hemi gasser...

Last fall I saw a refrigeration truck that had Dodge 6000 badges on the fenders when I was headed up the interstate to Atlanta. I had to do a double take but there it was. Haven't seen another since then.

The Mexican Ram 4000 looks just like a regular Ram 3500 Cab and Chassis.

over the past two weekends on top of cumbres pass where we snowmobile we've seen a 4500 and a 5500 dodge truck. we thought they were after market badges or letters. they looked ok. the 5500 had double shocks and a small lift kit, maybe 2-3 inches. they both had New Mexico plates on htem. will ck them out better this weekend. they were both cummins powered. maybe will get to talk to them, but they were out on the trail both days we saw the trucks.
