Put my new TST boc on yesterday, turned on the key to see if the gauge readout worked and saw smoke coming out from under the hood. Turned the key off and started checking wires and traced it to the resistor that the red,orange and black wires go through. Rechecked all the wires to make sure I had done it right, tried leaving the ground wires unhooked, no difference. Unhooked the crank and cam sensors,turned the key on no smoking wires. Plugged the crank sensor back in still good. Hooked tst wire to the cam still good hooked factory plug for cam in the tst wiring harness and the resistor starts smoking again. Anybody else have this happen to them?
