Purge a Propane Tank?

EGT's too high! Propane?

Well not new, but new to us. We just bought a 2004 Cherokee 29Z TT yesterday and I'm going to pick it up tonight. The only thing I've towed before has been a boat. Any advice out there on techniques, what to watch for, etc.

Sway control (wind) and tongue weight are your biggest concerns. Towing a TT is easy once you've got these handled. I assume that the dealer sold you a weight distrbution hitch, which is a must. Dealers sometimes set up buyers with the wrong bars (usually too stiff). You will also need to install sway control, but the add-on friction type are not the ideal solution. There is a lot of info at woodalls.com on towing. Very good tow vehicle and towing forums. You will need to navigate the site a bit to find the forums, but it is worth the effort. I can personally recommend the Equalizer hitch, and many others do as well. It combines WD with sway control. The hitch bars should fit your 29 but you will need to check. Equalizer web site has good info on the product, but unit is pricey (about $650) from them. Even if you already have a hitch and sway control from the dealer it's worth a visit to rvwholesalers. com. They sell the original Equalizer for $399.

Bought it from a private party. He threw in his WD setup, not sure which brand, but I plan on getting the Equal-i-zer setup soon.
