Anybody heard anything about the Van Aaken C5 yet. Just right now they only offer it with the six position box which is stock, then 5 more setting up to 150. And you are able to hook up the commander up to it also. And the best thing is in about 4-6 weeks the tuning software will be out so you can do duration, timing, and pressure changes on the laptop. I guess it kinda like the EFI-LIVE for Dmaxs except changes parameters in the ecm its all done thru the box that the laptop is hook up to. Anybody heard good things yet?

Sounds dangerous to me. How many of us are really qualified to be messing with the actual settings? How do you know which combos of timing perssure and duration will work well without blowing up the truck? I guess I would prefer to leave the trial and error part to somebody else, on THIER truck.

and still no proof! i am not surprised, i guess that is kind of like telling a girl you have a big crank, ha none believe it until they see it but once one sees the proof then all are believers. now lets see some documented proof instead of all this believe me it makes xxx hp, plus i have read somewhere else that is crank hp not rearwheel. i guess a dyno sheet would back up that claim.

Here is your proof. I've been beta testing this box for six months now and it works awesome. Drivability is great, I drive it on kill all the time. It's as docile as a kitten until you get on the loud pedal, then watch out :-laf.

These numbers were made with a single stage 2 cp3 from Floorit Diesel. The uncorrected numbers are in my sig.

Thank you Kai you have done what the folks from one place havent been able to produce, all the viewers get to see is letters on a screen forming sentences that resemble "believe me/we, it is on our truck and it makes xxx hp by my *** o meter" i deal with this bs everyday at work and i end up having to fix other peoples f ups it gets old, "back it up or shut up". i am just glad that the people on here that arent very knowledgeable on these things finally get to see some hard evidence. And yes Robert I was there for that and know at least as much as you do on that subject, i was merely asking for some long awaited proof which has now been brought to the public by a third party.

so because i didnt have kai's dyno sheet it wasnt true. get real. i watched it with my own two eyes. so me posting that this box makes over 300 rwhp is 100% true.

i never said it wasnt true robert, it jsut gets old on these forums people running theirs mouths about different products and findings and nothing is ever backed up, kind of like these monster VPs that no one has seen a dyno sheet or track times or anything. these forums are a wealth of knowledge and people need to share their findings not brag about them, but show everyone that may want one what they are going to get. we are here to help each other. i had a prob yesterday, my axle seals are worn out on my truck, i did a search and found all the needed info to replace them since i have never torn into a rear axle, but i want to learn and people here shared their findings in detail and it helped me out.

haha you will get a kick out of this one, so how is your clutch holding up? i know you make it hold its own, the clutch just went out of our truck at work yesterday on me (99 f350, gas). this is the second clutch in 19k miles! i was towing 8-10k lbs of trout (water, trailer, hauling tank) and lost almost all pedal, grinds, and it is currently being towed to the dealer. i am trying to get the boss to buy a dodge/cummins and throw a south bend in it so i can haul my fish! no hard feelings robert. lets keep diesel innovation moving forward.

i totally agree about alot of people not posting proof. on these kind things. i was just waiting for someone to post the dyno sheet from the spring fling because i didnt have it. i knew there was proof on this one. thats the only reason i posted it. funny you should say you replaced your axle seals yesterday. i just had mine replaced last week. but on the AAM axles there are rear hub bearing seals. because of the full floating axle. pretty simple job on my truck.

my clutch yeah its holding somewhat ok for right now. i know as soon as my ohter new turbo goes on and the new cp3 it will no longer hold anywide open pulls. two clutches in 19,000 miles you sound like me now. :-laf just tell the boss you would be more productive and have less down time with the Dodge/cummins setup. Oo. no no hard feelings at all. i know how the internet can make things look different. you racing on sat?

found out yesterday this will be the 3rd clutch in that turd! there are 2 people here that are very hard on a clutch, 2 bosses so i cant say anytying. no i wont be there on sat, my gf isgoign to grad school and we have to take a load of her stuff down so she can start on mon. plus i dont have the $$ to fix anything if i break it, i still cant get the intercooler boot i need, so there are more than a few factors. i will get back on the truck here next week and back on track.
