Competition H20/Meth Install ??

Competition June 6th pull/dyno event

I was at 520/1060 with the stock turbo and silly drive pressures at 47psi. Best previous time was a 13. 4x at 108mph on street tires.

I added the SuperBSpecial and pulled out 604/1193 on the dyno and hit the track. Traction has been the killer for my poor 2wd. with a 2. 4 60' as my best previous time. I managed a 2. 1 60' on street tires and a 13. 005 @ 110mph, so I was stoked.

Then we installed the 33x12. 5 MT slicks and heated them up. Best time dropped to a 1. 87 60' with a 12. 73@ 108mph as my best. This was my first time with slicks and I need more time to dial in pressure and boost for launch, but I am pretty happy. The best part is that the truck is still delivering a hand-calculated 19. 7MPG with the big tune in it. And with the small injectors, its easy to drive with no smoke!

Geez, gotta update that! They are 50hp DDPs. "No Smoke" is a slight exaggeration, Its there if I hammer it, but I can drive it all day with nothing but a slight haze on takeoff. If I dial power back to 70% on the POD, its gone.

Erik, congratulations on your latest #s. That is hauling ***.

Questions: Are those #s on diesel only, and what size slicks are you running?

TIA, Ray

PS. I'll be moving back to Santa Cruz June 1st, so maybe I'll be able see you at the drags, and at your dyno pulls soon.
