New Turbo Time

I believe it is time for a new turbo for my truck. I was going to go with an HX40 and have it worked over by Majestic, but with the failures that have occured it kind of scares me. Besides there are some other options out there now (I think). I heard on member was running different internals in an HX35 body and I just heard that Piers has some new super duper turbo... . Any one have any info???

What is the best option for me now. My sig has all my upgrades, but I plan to switch out the 275s for DD2's and probably change my EZ and PE for a comp version.

JR2... I read good things about Piers' new turbo on the 12 vavle forum about a month ago... it is supposed to cool like an HX40, but still allow you to use an exhaust brake immediately following the turbo instead of having to mount one under the truck.



I haven't seen anything else posted about it... you might give him a call...

SEEMS like ball bearing turbos are getting more common, spin up faster, maybe more efficient? Wonder if any potential improvement (or availabolity!) for our Cummins engines?
