Anyone have a newer Scotty II intake that uses the UNI Foam filter instead of K&N type gauze filter. Or anyone "upgrade" to the UNI?

How has it effected your oil analysis'? Better, worse same? How do u like the filter and how long is the sevice interval/ease of service?

Anything else u can think of let me know.

Thanks

Cant answer your truck specific questions... but I swear by the uni filters on dirtbikes... I have one on all 7 of mine! They flow great (1 hp increase on a 450), and i've never had the inside of the filter / air intake dirty (sand, mud, dusty, snow,... u name it)... .

That being said, i service every couple of rides on the bikes, so i dont know how long you should service on a truck???

Thanks Giachino, that info does help as I am looking to help with an increase in Silcon in my last oil sample.

Anyone else?
