Hey all. Just installed my new Goerend rebuilt transmission and I'm running the smarty TNT on #5 now with the stock boost option off. I'm running about 40-45 boost at WOT. I'm probably going to need some different valve springs to handle the extra boost. What size should I use that will reliably handle that amount of boost and where can I get them for the best price?

Should probably do studs at the same time or if not enough $$ would do them before springs. I got my studs and springs @ a great price with free advice from Olee (Powerbypoole.com) Sorry I dont know how to link, only how to work on trucks

I'd get a good set of studs and hold off on the springs until you start running higher rpms... Just my opinion...

Why would I need head studs? The stiffer springs would help prevent valve float with the higher pressure. So I think the springs could be the weakest link.
