new vehicle delivery

Lets say I ordered a new 2004. 5 3500 4x4 qc sb on 3/1/04 with the following options: trailer tow, snow plow prep, limited slip, folding tow mirrors, two tone, leather wrapped wheel, owl all terrain tires,fold flat strorage and automatic trans in slt package. Does anyone have any idea when i should expect to see it? of course the dealers all say 8-10 weeks but from reading about delivery times on the tdr i just dont see it happening in that time frame. anyone have a better time frame on delivery?

ordered my 2004. 5 on feb 25th havent even got a build date yet dealer says 10 to 12 weeks

Talked to dealer today. Said truck was on D1. Shipping date march 17 . I wont hold my breath. Let me know when yours comes in. I shouldnt be far behind

So, although my truck is D1 the build date could still be some time away?What exactly is D1 anyway? My understanding is that its all ok'd and just waiting to be built. Is that correct?

d1 should mean all parts avalable and a place in line approved. would lve to see d1 on my truck

Ordered my truck on 1-14-04. Dealer said it would take 6-8. They say it will be in 3-12-04. That puts them just over the mark. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Ordered my reg cab 3500 4x4 on Feb 2 DC say scheduled to be built in Mex this week! Hard to say when I'll actually get it.

I saw a thread up under 3rd gen(no eng/trans) that gave a dc site to get into for vehicle status. punched in dealer # and vin and was able to see were my truck was. how great is that. no more bothering dealer. they just dont understand anyways . at least not my dealer.

its not that they dont understand, once they have a signed deal they dont care any longer.

You don't mention if you have the 6 speed or auto... that seems to make a big difference right now. 6 speeds are taking a lot longer.

tried to get on the dodge site to track my truck and it was not there ( the site not my truck) Did they find out we all are tracking ourselfs and shut it off? anyone get on today?

Ordered mine 03/13/04 Dealer said "vin# by 03/18 delivery 6-8 weeks" We'll see how long it takes.

Ordered 2500 4x4 SWB 2UH ETH/48RE with 3. 73 Anti-spin diff on 3/09/04. No VIN# yet and dealer says there are delays for the Anti-spin differential. Anyone heard how long this delay may be?
