new vehicle delivery

I ordered mine on 02/27. It's been completed since 03/24. It was loaded on a railcar for the port in Mexico. Any idea how long it might sit before the ship heads north?

from all the other post about the boat it has to go to china first then up the east coast their gps is upside down. thank god mine will come by rail not thats its much faster

kz 4/19/04 and there it sits in the yard, del to dealer 5/14/04 bet it wont make it.

Took delivery yesterday. Eight weeks from time of order. Ithink that was reasonable time to wait but it sure did go sloow.

Ordered my 4x4,lwb,laramie,CTD on 12-31-03 and it is now on railcar in Livonia, La. Should be in Atlanta on 5-2 and at dealer on 5-10.



The truck sat in Saltillo, Mex. for a full month before shipping. 4 1/2 months is a ridiculous time to wait. Never again!

Well, I've been tracking my truck's progress and things have apparently come to a hault at being loaded on the railcar. My final delivery date was pushed back for the first time as of today. I expected it to happen because rail dates have been backing up each day I checked it. Who knows when my final date will be now.



I don't really mind too much, but now I have to request a new loan check from my bank because the original one will be expired if delayed again. That shouldn't be a problem, but I always worry about them saying, "sorry, but for whatever reason we are unable to provide financing at this time".



Anyone else showing delays on their Insignt tracking?

Mine showed it was on the railcar for 6 days,showed up in Baltimore on 4/26/04. There it sits. My dealer says it's up to customs,but since it is a sold unit, it has priority. Delivery to the dealer has been changed several times from 4/17/04 until (currently) 05/10/04. On Tuesday they informed me that it doesn't go to the dealer from Baltimore. It goes by rail from Baltimore to a relay yard (in my case Twin Oaks,Pa. ) and then is loaded on a truck to come to the dealer. I doubt the 05/10/04 date.

Ordered mine on 03-03, D1 stautus on 03-19. The truck went KZ (plant release) on 04-27, still sitting in theyard. I have been checking daily, they just keep pushing the next step off a day at a time. They still show a delivery date to the dealer (Auburn, Ca. ) of 05-18. We'll see...

mine is sitting in winslow tx after crossing the border 4/27 they push my del date back every day also. del date to dealer 5/12 now.

it finally arrived! insight showed in bay in baltimore for several days after it was delivered. it was 1 day short of ten weeks; but it was woth the wait.

went fast across US. stopped in idaho sat for 4 days just started moving this afternoon. about 400 mi away just brought home brushguard, tonneau cover, and payed for sprayin bedliner. Im sooo ready.

Today was the last day you could order a 04 2500/3500. I might be getting an 05, Dealer said they would quarantee the price but not the 2500. 00 rebate.
