dealer replaced these items and now truck wont run right . . The problem is very strange and does not happen at any special time. Most of the time it happens when i call for fuel smash or no smash i get no fuel truck just sits there and wont move then all of the sudden it moves 5 or six seconds later cant figure it out. What i do know is i get on my way quicker when i downshift manually does this make any sense. I really need help here dealer cant fix it and i am not a diesel tech i work on cars and motorcycles, but my truck has been down for two weeks and i cant afford to let it stay at the dealer any longer. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.

carhauler, sorry to hear of your trouble, might be worthwhile to ask/request/demand a referral to your local Cummins shop so some "real" diesel mechanics can fix it. Sure sounds like they didn't get something right in the plumbing department, loose connection, bad return line, or something. There have been reports of bad lift pumps and injection pumps right out of the box. Hope this gets resolved quickly!
