Hello all,

I am in need of a new Pump and was wondering the best place to get one. A friend at the dealer told me $1700 but because i have an 02 HO i might need a new $3300 unit. Should I try a local injection shop?

The lowest price i have found online has been about $1250 Where might i find these $1100 jobs? I was under the impression HO's were more?

What mods do you have? According to sig none, how did you loose a VP? Tell the dealer to replace if no mods...

So far I have found the cheapest price at cummins stuff for $1275. As far as mods carter pusher. 4" straight pipe and edge comp box with tapped wire. I keep getting the 0216 code. it has cut out on me twice. I get a dead peddle some times and i stalled it twice. Some times i also get a knocking noise. And just low on powe i feel. I put the cater on after it cut out the first time. I will completely remove the box and see if i get codes. I am just preparing for the worst.

I know this is an old thread but wanted to get this out there for you guys that are doing a search on the topic and shopping. www.usdieselparts.com or www.performancedieselparts.com they are both the same place but have recon's which include new electronics for $1095

a recon means its used housing and reman'd to Bosch specs. something you should ask is if the electronics have been replaced. if no then were they tested and how. if they dont have the Bosch tool then they have not tested the electronics. buyer beware on a pump like that. Harry @ Piers didnt know if his were new or used electronics. For $1275 i told him dont bother checking.

FWIW: they dropped shipped my pump to me, so as soon as it gets here i will see if i can track down where its coming from and post their info here. could get even cheaper.

Definately call Cumminstuff at 817-573-7755, I have bought two remans from them at $975 @ plus freight and sales tax if your lucky enough to be a TEXAN :D Sharlyn will take care of you for sure.

OK the new pump arrived and it was drop shipped from an authorized Bosch service center which JUUUST happens to be the sister company to BD Power.

give up?
