Guns, Bows, Shooting Sports, and Hunting New XDM 40 cal

Son came in from Texas we live in Cali and he brought me a XDM . I found a loop hole in the Cali law that says a gift can be give to immediate family even if it's not on the list. Pay 19. 00 and fill out DOJ paperwork , We go blow some things up tonight.

I have a XD40 subcompact and it great shooting gun. I carried it for awhile, it was just a bit bulky for me.

I have the XD40 Tactical (5") and love it. I want to get the Subcompact and then move on to the XDM's. Hope you like it!

I just got a "new to me" pistol last night. It's a model 669 Smith and Wesson. I don't think it has been fired much and is in really good condition. Anything i should know about it?Randy

Well went to the range with son tonight. Really enjoyed shooting the XDM 40 I am used to shooting a 45 but the 40 ballistics have impressed me . It has a double action trigger like the Glock which some people don't like , though the son did. The grip is nice and has pieces to expand for the big hand , it came setup with the med which felt good to me . Sighting was right on out of the case couldn't ask for much better. Ran 100 rounds through it at mostly 10 yds. here is a pic of my 3rd magazine . I highly recommend this to anybody . P. S. I consider myself an average shooter

How easy do they break down for cleaning? Are there aftermarket accessories out there like barrels, magazines, lights? They look great and seems like it's a shooter. Just got to finds how to get the "M" out here.

As easy as the 1911 . There is a rail below the barrel for light, laser, ect. You need an immediate family member that lives out of state to give you one then fill out the Ca. DOJ form with 19. 00 . No FFL needed transfer
