I wonder why New York's fuel prices are so out of whack with the rest of the Lower 48 states? Their average is FIFTY cents above most everyone else. . . $4. 12 compared to ~$3. 60 for the rest of us Did a refinery burn down? Pipeline break? More Dodge Cummins enthusiasts move to NY recently? Too many bureaucrats? Hillary?

Ha! welcone to the wonderful empire state. a friend of mine just moved to Los Angeles from Rochester and he sent me a pic from a SoCal Shell station- mid $3 range. still about $4. 05 here at the time. i filled up at the indian reservation near buffalo yesterday for 3. 35 (no sales tax). there is an independent convienience store near the house that is still at $4. 85. i never see anyone pumping. go figure.

It seemed before the latest big price spike NY's fuel prices weren't that far out of line with the rest of the US, but I wasn't watching that closely.

just paid 3. 899 for diesel on middle country road in centereach long island 7 miles from my house believe it was lukoil... it was 4am on the way home from the bar (designated decoy in the dodge) g/f was toasted though

cheapest here in Lakeville,Livingston county was $3. 99. 9!!!
Go figure.

Because democrats are the majority in the NY state house and governor's mansion and democrats love high taxes, same as in your state of WA.
