ok lets try posting our own rigs also and where we normally drive and also any other rigs we spot ... cool



ok since i split my time in both ny and ct heres my current daily driver and my dodge soon to be back on the road. . ha



daily is green vw rabbit pickup with silver doors, 4 1/2" dual smoke stacks wilson 1000 LONG cb antena and a black truck box... normally some where around The Hudson valley in ny, LAgrangeville, rt 82 ,rt 9 wappingers, poughkeepsie, pleasnt valley etc in NY and in CT... danbury, ridgefield, norwalk, or stanford CT areas



my dodge is 89 w 350 srw 4x4 straight piped with 5" side exit exhaust white paint with the custom touces that include multiple dents and rust haha and plow frame. . soon to be back on the road with p7100 pump conversion , 370 injectors,enterprise delivery valve,and #4 cam plate sometime in august. .

ok ive seen a couple of cool first gens that are locol to LaGrangeville area. . a 4x4 dually ext cab first gen burgandy and gold two tone looks and sounds sweet . . a blue and silver or white 2 tone 4x4 first gen ext cab blue and silver or white two tone... one day i saw this one pulling a large back hoe on flat bed down rt 82 between billings light and agway!...

ive seen a light metallic blue first gen 4x4 srw at the billings post office also. .

my friends trucks are. .

... ... . 2001. 5 quad cab 3500 4x4 silver ho 6spd lives in lagrangeville by cross road. . trailers his dirt track car to lebanon valley often...

... ... . 2002 regcab 2500 4x4 graphite grey paint. ho 6spd aluminum rims, aluminum tool box, and protec aluminum headache rack livesin pleasant valley . . works at lime rock race track in ct. . so seen on rt 44 often. .

... ... also mentions ford power chokes. . ha... my friends 2000 f350 srw reg cab4x4 6 spd black paint bug screen says "tractor Dave" in green . .

... oh i did see a white 4x4 2nd gen cummins with straight pipe and auto transmission take off from billings plaza 2 weeks ago saturday morning it sounded sweet. . i have no idea who that was though... any one know any of tehse trucks ?

Nope, never seen it... but there was one just like it in Derby, CT :-laf :-laf

I saw a gray 3500 with a big exhaust tip, pin striping and Illinois plates today on 90 near 190 headed west.

Hey Ted, didn't realize there was another TDR Brother so close taking the same commuting route. I run a 135 mile per day commute up and down the 219 & 90 from Springville to Akron. I cannot recall EVER seeing another bombed cummins in this area... no big exhaust, no gauges, no smoke, nothin'.



What does you rig look like? I'll keep my eyes open...



My rig is a two-tone maroone and silver reg. cab with a Weatherguard tool box on it.



BTW, CDDAY just moved into our area, but I have not talked to him in a few months now.

Hey Greg and Ted - - I'm still here! Been busy and haven't got on the site very often. Live in Lockport and work in Tonawanda. Gale and I each have CTD's both White, a '99 with red stripes and company markings(featured in the mag work truck article) and a white '01 with bed rails and nerf bars. Both have Power Wagon signs on rear and both have TDR logo's front and rear.

Hey Greg, Denny,



I live in elma off the 400. I am a little iratic as to when I am driving around and the truck is actually down right now with a cracked wheel. West Herr is just not cooperating.



The truck is patriot Blue over gray, Denver offroad front bumper with Piaa 80s in the middle. I have a black topper (left over from the last truck) that is still on but usually come off in the summer. 295 tires, tractor back up lights. All the goodies are in the sig. My exhaust looks very much stock excepted the exit angle because I wanted to keep a stock look. Nothing like driving a sleeper



Greg I try not to go around blowing to much smoke but some times I guy just has to have fun I did powder coat a bright yellow open top viper the other day on transit road. Just could not help my self on such an easy target.



I will keep an eye out on the roads and may be we will have to do a little get together some time this summer.

Saw one today on the LIE, Dark blue cap gauges and it looked like it had about a 7" exhaust pipe:--) :--) sounded like a Kenworth when I got to my destination I got out and looked at my 5" pipe and had a case of EXHAUST ENVY:{

Saw a few in the last few days, a white dually getting off the shelter island ferry 2 sundays ago with a modified exhaust, a white dually again on the LIE w/ tinted windows and gauges heading east by exit 59,and a red 2500 w/ gauges and an exhaust 24v, any TDR members?

Black 2500 with ISX badges

I was in the smithtown area saturday, and I saw a sweet looking 2500 with the chrome and silver ISX badges on the doors. there was a LI ram owners sticker in the back side window. It sounded great when it pulled away!

HEY 6SHOTZ, I KNOW THE GUY WITH THE WHITE DUALLY. HE'S GOT AN '01 HO WITH A CHIP (NOT SURE WHICH ONE), K&N, AND 4" EXHAUST FROM THE TURBO BACK. I'VE DRIVEN IT WITH 15000 POUNDS IN TOW - FEELS LIKE DRIVING A STOCK TRUCK EMPTY! ARE YOU A MEMBER OF LIC-ROC?

Sorry it took so long to get back to you I haven't been on the computer for a while. No I'm not in that club. Occaisionally I am on Shelter though. See signature for desc. of truck. Recently went up 4. 5". Saw about 1 month ago a black dually in the westbury area w/ 2 stacks. Sounded great.

HESS at the end of L. I. E. - next to outlet center. Also HESS in Riverhead on Rt 58 just west of Walmart. Cheapest price ($1. 52) and 42 cetane.

Do you know of any stations further west near my area?

I've been going to the new Amoco station just west of K-Mart in Middle Island. The #10 diesel pump has a big rig nozzle. Fills your tank fast. The only down side, minimum cetane 40. Also the Millenium station north side of Rte. 25 e/o the Ridge F. D. and Brookhaven Range. Minimum cetane 45. Later, -Glen

Cheapest fuel in L.I.

I get my fuel real cheap (free), I go to Glen's house when he's sleeping and transfer it into my sled He still can't figure out why he's only getting 7 MPG :{
